About Mission Regan

Vision Statement: The vision of Mission Regan is to share the love of Christ with the world by taking medical supplies and medicines given by people with plenty and sharing it with those in need.

Mission Statement: Mission Regan exists to bridge the chasm between people who have too much and people who struggle to survive. We collect medical supplies, medicines, and equipment, then send them to those who are in desperate need – locally and globally. We focus on what we can learn from the people we are giving to, rather than what we are doing for them, and aim to sustain and continue relationships with the people we help. We believe that we can all help each other, regardless of our status.

While working in the medical field, I watched countless supplies and antibiotics go out to the trash…and thought that it was a shame these couldn’t be used.  When we went to Uganda in October of 2010 our eyes were opened.  We were adopting our son and had to stay at the babies home until our process was over.  We decided to bring some supplies and expired antibiotics that I asked to take instead of toss.  Little did we know that this would be the first distribution of many shipments of supplies to those in need.  Check out “Who is Regan?” for more on the story of this incredible blessing.  When we came home and began to settle in, we continued to accept supplies.  Friends started hearing about it and word spread that we were taking donations.  Before we knew it…our garage was filled to the brim!  Next thing we knew…a friend offered to sponsor a storage unit for us to store our supplies.  Our church started to help us make connections.  Our friends in other non-profit organizations offered to help.  Dr. Brent Armstrong (an ER doctor and the leader of my first medical mission trip) jumped on board to help.

We now accept supply and medicine donations from over 7 different donors…including some of the biggest hospitals in the DFW area!

So far we have donated supplies to both Africa and our local community.  We love giving to people going out on mission trips, non-profit organizations helping others, or just people who need it.  Check out the “What is available” tab to see if we have something you may need! 1. My sister-in-law Stephanie Tinkle has a huge supply of lidoderm patches (lidocaine patch 5% – 700t mg) that she does not need. Her pharmacist filled every prescription as soon as the doctor wrote them. She received an embarrassing supply over the last year. They are dated for 2013 and 2014 and could never use the excess supply. They were paid for by medicare. We have about 100 boxes of 30 patches. Stephanie says rhey cost about $600 a box. They will go to waste. We hope your organization can use them. We want nothing in return if you can pick them up at her apartment in Carrollton. Please contact me Mary Gibson at himaryg@sbcglobal.net or 9772-898-0057. Thank you. Saw article in NeighborsGo dated Jan 18.
